Five lower court judges transferred
LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Sayed Zahid Hussain has placed the services of five judges of the subordinate judiciary at the disposal of the Punjab and the federal governments and transferred eight LHC officials.
The CJ placed the services of Additional District and Sessions Judges Abdul Karim Langah and Muhammad Amjad Pervaiz at the disposal of the Punjab government, as presiding officers of the district consumer courts in Rawalpindi and Gujrat, respectively.
The CJ placed the services of civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates, Hidayat Ullah Shah and Irfan Ahmad, at the disposal of the Pakistan government, the Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights Division, for their posting as section officers for a period of three years on deputation basis.
The services of Civil Judge (first class) Farhat Jabeen Rana are placed at the disposal of the Punjab government for her posting as the law officer in the Punjab Text Book Board Lahore on deputation basis.
Six assistant registrars of the LHC are transferred. They are Irfan Ahmad Niazi from pool to Judicial Academy, Bashir Ahmad from computer cell to election tribunal, Sajjad Ahmad from accounts branch to purchase cell, Makhdoon Ashraf from Bahawalpur bench to accounts branch principal seat, Mian Muhammad Ajmal from Multan Bench to Bahawalpur bench, and Mian Shafique Alam from Judicial Academy to resident branch.
The CJ has also transferred two personal assistants of the LHC. Azhar Raza is transferred from the Punjab Judicial Academy Lahore to in the court of Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Ramzan Ali Dogar is transferred from the court of Justice Bandial to the Punjab Judicial Academy. staff report
